The show

Sound and Vision is a totally unique event.  There is no other show that brings to life music, art and architecture in this way.

Sound and Vision is a live performance combining the music of Rick Wakeman, and the painting of Maria Rud. Each performance uses an historic building as a canvas. Maria’s live, ever evolving, mesmerising creations, is projected onto the building to produce a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

The music will be a mix of classic Rick Wakeman material, plus his original compositions for the show.  Onstage with Rick, will be his son Adam and percussionist Ed Scull and will also feature the English Chamber Choir conducted by Guy Protheroe.

Supporting Animals Asia, this will be one of the must see events of 2018.

Important event information

"Due to unforeseen technical and practical difficulties, a decision has been made to postpone the proposed concert on December 10th with Rick Wakeman and Maria Rud at the Queens House in aid of the Moon Bears charity.

Whilst all the issues that have arisen can be overcome given time, it would not be possible in the remaining timescale and so the decision was made to actively look for a new date in 2018 in order to ensure that this very special and unique event achieves everything it should. Potential dates in 2018 are already being considered and as soon as a firm date is set, then further announcements will be made."
