Rick Wakeman and Maria Rud bring Art and Music together in a Unique Live Experience

This event is truly unique. There is no other show that brings to life music, art and architecture in this way.

Over the Moon is a live performance combining the music of RICK WAKEMAN, and the painting of MARIA RUD.

Rick performing a mix of his classic material and new compositions arranged specially for the show. Maria’s live, ever evolving, mesmerising artistic creations, projected onto an historic building to produce a truly unique, exhilarating, and unforgettable experience.

Joining Rick onstage will be his son Adam, percussionist Ed Scull, and the English Chamber Choir conducted by Guy Protheroe.

Proceeds will be donated to Animals Asia with the dual aim of rescuing moon bears, and ending this vile trade.

Important event information

"Due to unforeseen technical and practical difficulties, a decision has been made to postpone the proposed concert on December 10th with Rick Wakeman and Maria Rud at the Queens House in aid of the Moon Bears charity.

Whilst all the issues that have arisen can be overcome given time, it would not be possible in the remaining timescale and so the decision was made to actively look for a new date in 2018 in order to ensure that this very special and unique event achieves everything it should. Potential dates in 2018 are already being considered and as soon as a firm date is set, then further announcements will be made."
